The Primanti Brothers in Pittsburgh is famous for a sandwich I really want to try: fried meat (your choice) topped with french fries, coleslaw and tomato on homemade bread. I should never watch the food shows when I'm hungry!
They were featured on Food Paradise on the Travel Channel as one of the best sandwiches in the country; "A taste of Pittsburgh between two slices of bread". Apparently, Primanti Bros. has grown to locations all over Pittsburgh and into the suburbs, but the original location in The Strip District is where it all started, so that's the one I'd like to visit.
I know where John and I are going next week...
